Florida - St Petersburg, Clearwater

Hello U.S.A! :)

After the gruelling long flight, we finally arrived in the sunshine state - Florida.
Struggling to adjust with the time difference, GPS and driving on the other side of the road, we finally reached Marriott's Courtyard

The bed that I can just doze off as soon as my head touches the pillow.

Facebook suddenly prompted me to verify my identification. Probably it detected the account is being accessed from the other side of the world. However, I find the question hilarious.

So who's the bear in the picture?! I am still wondering until this day.

Everything is huge in Florida. When I reached here, I felt that most of the buildings are single storey spanning a vast area of land. Even my hotel is only 3 storeys. I was thinking, why do they want to waste so much land...then I answered my own question. Because they have so much land!

What a huge contrast with Penang where the cost of every single square foot of land made the home buyer's heart skipped a beat.

The marts that we constantly dropped by to grab this and that.

Ellenton Prime Outlets. Shopping haven for famous brands and designer apparel - Coach, Nike, Guess. Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, GAP, DKNY, Fossil, Saks Fifth Ave, Oakley, Nine West and the list goes on...

All those shopping makes me hungry! We were drawn to Bob Evans for a wholesome meal

The most concentrated and delicious strawberry shake. I can just have this for dinner and still have a happily filled stomach

Everytime I see this picture, I regretted that I did not finish it. What a waste on such a delicious meal. Sorry, the jet lag and the huge portions which my stomach still could not get use to, made me full just looking at it.

One of my favourite in the US is the Vietnamese beef noodle. My boss is right, it's really hard to find one as good as those in the US locally.


Time flies and before we knew it, our 2 weeks in St. Petersburg/Clearwater is up. Blame it all on work! :P

Time to fly to Memphis...
