Day 18 : 22nd May 09

Last day in Europe...

Daniel got well today. Since it's our last day in Europe, he brought us to the streets and markets where the local goes for our last minute shopping and cheese hunting. The streets were free from hordes of tourist and for the first time, we managed to have a peaceful walk in Amsterdam itself.

I still think the best place to get cheese and food will be in mini marts. Imagine Tesco and Cosmart and you will know what I mean.

I love this cute little building. It has teddy bears climbing up its wall too!

Did someone turn off the lights?

We had a good laid-back lunch near to Red Light District.

Goodbye Europe. We were waving as we boarded the Eurolines and headed to the ship which will ferry us back to London. It was 2am in the morning and we were inside this massive ship. With our half groggy head we wandered around the ship equipped with a games room filled with arcade games, mini casino, money changer, 3 restaurants, 2 bars and lounges and shops selling almost everything from books to fashion goods. There were rows of toilets and ample spaces for people to sleep or stretch. We were having a hard time deciding the best place to chill.

2 hours later, we were called back to our bus. The ship has reached London.
