Taipei Airport Shopping

day 9 : 21st Dec 2012

Time to fly home. To save cost, we decided to take the MRT to the nearest bus station that'll bring us to the airport. It wasn't pleasant. Look at the stairs where we have to carry our luggages up and down. There are way too many of such stairs and this isn't recommended unless you wanted to really save or build muscles.

We started seeing these after all the hassle

I am more like the rabbit

After walking up and down and to various underground tunnels, we emerged into the sunlight. Pant-pant. Huff Huff!

Got our bus ticket, queue in line and got up the bus.

Finally, we reached the airport.

Not a big Hello Kitty fan but decided to explore the cute looking Hello Kitty booth from Eva Air.

After a tasteless meal at the food court, we headed to our gate.

Before that, swung by a duty free shop to grab a bottle of blood red special edition Belvedere.

Here's our gate. Taiwan never ceases to amaze me. Even each boarding gates has its own theme. Ours today, is the post office theme.

So how do I sum up the experience in Taiwan? It's hard but a couple of  descriptions came in mind : Colourful, creative, scenic, choices, friendly, shops, affordable. Somewhere to return for more!
