Taiping Lake Garden

No visit to Taiping is complete without a stop at Taiping Lake Garden.

The garden seemed to have expanded since the last time I was here when I was a child. A beautiful park filled with activities from boating, cycling, photo-shooting, joggers and walkers from all ages. There were also eateries surrounding the park. Several newer buildings like KFC, Tealive, Nasi Kandar Beratur and CU Mart conveniently located at the heart of the park. 

What grows more beautiful the older it gets? 

Raintrees believed to be planted since the 1880s. That's more than a century years old!

Time to do some paddle boat.
