B Cafe @ Ratchathewi Station

9th Oct 2019

Aww ... it was our last day in Bangkok. Our flight was not until late afternoon.

Last night, we thought of just having today's breakfast downstairs. While showering, I thought of checking off one last thing in our to do list (We can't finish them all). Jess called to check the opening hours of the cafe and the cafe has opened! With carefully calculated timing, we took the train to Ratchathewi Station. The cafe is just right under the station.

It looked like a house in the English countryside. Let's check out the inside.

Every corner was so picturesque. There was even a private garden nook at the side.

Placed our order and went upstairs.

We were busy taking pictures and in just a little while, food was served. Jess & I exclaimed in excitement when we saw our coffee/tea art.

We have never been served with something this cute!

Jess's coffee 😻

I can't get over Thai milk tea and had to have another cup. I was surprised mine came with the 3D art too! How can we even drink that cute bunny?

Yummy food & great presentation!

Generous amount of fine ingredients. They read our mind and even provided us with cutlery & straws for sharing.

One happy meal - 2 happy gals 👧👩💜

Carefully drinking my tea without destroying Mr Rabbit.
That was one helluva quality foam. Mr Rabbit stayed intact until the end. Hehe...

What a nice meal to wrap up our trip.

This trip was much needed for both of us to take a break from our hectic life. Both of us reached a tipping point. We just booked and go. It was somewhat liberating to just enjoy what girls like to do and for once in a long time to just focus and pampering ourselves.

Bangkok, I cannot wait to visit you again~

On the way back

After checking out from the hotel, we took the same route back to the airport. Took the train back to Mo Chit station (at Chatuchak) and used Exit 3. The elevator was quite obscure. We thought we had to carry our luggage down the long stairway to catch the bus. Luckily the friendly station officer guided us to the elevator. We waited under the hot sun for the A1 or A2 or 510 airport bus to Don Mueang. If you are unsure, just ask because 80% of them are waiting for the same airport bus. The bus finally came and again, we were packed like sardines to Don Mueang. Get ready to stand all the way to the airport. Please prepare 30 Baht in advance for the sake of your sardine life in the bus later. You may not even move your feet or open your bag inside.

Note: The bus number & pricing above may change since our trip. Please check carefully before boarding :)
