Eya Pool Villa (Formerly known as Kanyane Resort)

By the time we reached, Kanyane Resort has changed its name to Eya Pool Villa. There were only 6 villas in this resort. We loved this hotel as each of the villa has direct access to a pool. Since the pandemic has started, the entire resort was empty. It felt very exclusive and peaceful having the place on our own.

Waking up every morning to this view 💜

Our room where we stayed for 5 nights. The spacious room with an industrial design

Fresh frangipani flowers giving a spa field in the vanity area

Well equipped toiletries.

Ample areas to hang towels which even many high end hotels often overlook. How many times we found that after one person hang his/her towel, there is no more space left to hang another towel. Sometimes, we need to hang our towels inside the cupboard which has no ventilation or maybe on some chairs. The design of having a towel rack above the toilet found in most hotels are bad too. It is like doing business with a towel covering your face or trying your best not to get the towel to fall into the toilet bowl. Hmm...how about the smell? OK, you can imagine...

Love the beautiful tiles that change its color based on the amount of sunlight. There was a window overlooking the sky while bathing. So relaxing...

Beautifully crafted vanity area and snacks bar. Everything was well thought and we even had a mosquito zapper. We were upgraded and can enjoy every snacks found in the room.

There was another area of the resort with 3 villas having direct access to this pool. This pool was slightly smaller but it had a jacuzzi and a kids pool. The 3 villas has its own balcony too. I wondered if previously there were two - Kanyanne resort & Eya Pool villa and they just combined into one. Because the design of these 2 areas were contrasting. Hmm...

There was a 24 hour gym above the villa's cafe/bar/restaurant.

We swam while watching the skies changed its colour as night falls.

We had exclusive swims in both pools since we were the only one here. Throughout our stay there was just another local couple who stayed for a night. The pool were warm and clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They brought us extra towels so we can use them after our swim. Since we stayed there for 5 nights, we did some light laundry and hung them outside. They even brought us extra hanging rack and helped us properly hang them up 😻 We were just overall very happy with our stay here. Thinking of it made me want to go back there now.
